Message SCROLL

Thank you for visiting the Senmon Kyouiku Publishing website. I am Satoshi Kamata, the President and CEO.

“Making Learning Easier and More Enjoyable.”

This is not only our slogan but also our vision for a future where learning is transformed into a thrilling adventure filled with intellectual curiosity. We believe this because true human growth and happiness lie beyond enjoyable learning.

We aspire to be like “the sun” that warmly illuminates and nurtures the potential within each individual, and we cherish a philosophy of “natural learning.” This means offering learners essential, stress-free learning experiences, while cultivating in ourselves the humility to learn from the principles of nature.

To give shape to this philosophy, we are currently dedicating our full efforts to the field of Japanese language education. Our Manabo! Nihongo textbook series has sold over 400,000 copies, and our Japanese Language NAT-TEST is now conducted in 16 countries with over 1.2 million test-takers. While this may at first glance seem unrelated, we believe that mastering this one area with inimitable depth and creativity is the surest path to unlocking the full potential of “learning” in all its future forms.

The main character in our business is not our products.
Our greatest asset is the dialogue between three key parties—“those who teach,” “those who learn,” and “those who create with us”—and the circle of trust born from it.

Nearly half a century has passed since our founding.
As we look toward the next 50 years, we embark on a new journey, with new challenges. We may not be a perfect group of elites. However, we are a team that is not afraid of change, respects each other’s individuality, and tackles difficult challenges with outstanding teamwork and a sense of enjoyment. We aspire to remain a professional team that is approachable, human, and admirable.

I hope that through this website, you will get a sense of our passion and our challenges. And if our philosophy resonates with you, we would love to hear from you—as a customer, a partner, or a future colleague.

I sincerely look forward to the day we can meet.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message.
